Peace Treaty - Revelation 10, Daniel 9:27

The prophet Daniel has a prophecy about 70 weeks, being seven years each. The first 69 weeks have already passed in regard to the Messiah, and Him being cut off. The 70th week, all scholars know comes at the very end and it starts with a peace treaty. In the middle of the 7 years, the treaty is broken.

Revelation 10, which comes after the 6th Trumpet describes this event with a small scroll that is sweet to eat but bitter in the stomach. Also in this chapter we see in verse 6, that there will be delay no longer, lining up with the final week of Daniel. In verse 7, we see it announced that the Mystery of God is finished. A mystery finished, means it is no longer a mystery, but is revealed. Which also backs up the knowing about the final 7 years of Daniel. For this will mean that even the date of the second coming will be known by a countdown of 7 prophetic years (360 days each) from the Peace Treaty being official.

The bitter peace seems to come after the horrific war of the 6th Trumpet which has over 200 Million in the armies, and a third of mankind is killed. A third of 200 Million is 66.6 Million. A third of the whole population of the earth is just over 2 Billion. Is the prophecy referring to the area or the whole earth when it says a third of mankind will be killed? (perhaps a better translation would make it more for the area). This war starts around the River Euphrates which flows from Turkey through Syria and into Iraq and through the ancient site of Babylon. Such a catastrophe will mean even with unresolved issues, that many will compromise to make the Peace Treaty a reality. The whole idea of peace will be a good and sweet idea (sweet to taste). The realisation of the compromise and loop holes will be the bitterness that lingers afterwards (bitterness in stomach).

Daniel 11:32, says that "he" will show regard for those who act wickedly towards the covenant. And that those who know their God will display strength and take action. (to be continued under the two witnesses)

Daniel 9:27 (The 70th Week Treaty)
"And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate."

Revelation Chapter 10

10:1
I saw another strong angel coming down out of heaven, clothed with a cloud; and the rainbow was upon his head, and his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire;
10:2
and he had in his hand a little book which was open. He placed his right foot on the sea and his left on the land;
10:3
and he cried out with a loud voice, as when a lion roars; and when he had cried out, the seven peals of thunder uttered their voices.
10:4
When the seven peals of thunder had spoken, I was about to write; and I heard a voice from heaven saying, "Seal up the things which the seven peals of thunder have spoken and do not write them."
10:5
Then the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land lifted up his right hand to heaven,
10:6
and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, WHO CREATED HEAVEN AND THE THINGS IN IT, AND THE EARTH AND THE THINGS IN IT, AND THE SEA AND THE THINGS IN IT, that there will be delay no longer,
10:7
but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then the mystery of God is finished, as He preached to His servants the prophets.
10:8
Then the voice which I heard from heaven, I heard again speaking with me, and saying, "Go, take the book which is open in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea and on the land."
10:9
So I went to the angel, telling him to give me the little book. And he *said to me, "Take it and eat it; it will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey."
10:10
I took the little book out of the angel's hand and ate it, and in my mouth it was sweet as honey; and when I had eaten it, my stomach was made bitter.
10:11
And they *said to me, "You must prophesy again concerning many peoples and nations and tongues and kings."
